We strongly recommend it. The engraving inside the crystal is a frosty white, and the crystal itself is clear, so in normal lighting the details can be hard to see. A Light Base illuminates the etching, adding contrast and making your image pop—it truly brings the crystal to life.

Production is 1–2 business days. Delivery time depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout. You’ll see the available options there and receive tracking once your order ships.

We don’t provide proofs for single-piece orders by default. Your uploaded photo serves as our design reference, and our artists compose it for the best 3D result. If you absolutely need a proof, mention this in the “Special Instructions” box at checkout. Please note: requesting a proof will extend production time, and if you decide to switch to a different image after seeing the proof, there’s a $30 change fee. If no special instructions are provided, our designers may adjust cropping, positioning, and text placement to achieve the best outcome.

You can choose whether to keep or remove the background on the product page. If kept, backgrounds are added in 2D only.

Yes. Each product lists a recommended figure count for that size. If your photo includes more figures than recommended, we’ll produce the design in 2D to fit everything, which means each person/pet will appear smaller in the engraving.
